Barrel racing is a rodeo event in which a horse and rider attempt to run a cloverleaf pattern around preset barrels in the fastest time.

The Kamloops Agri Centre is home to a variety of agricultural and rodeo events including barrel racing, breakaway roping, team roping, team penning, cattle sorting, horse racing and spring training.
